Intro

Well, this is an intro to the blog, not the book I am working on. Here I will post the intro and a few chapters of this quasinonfiction work How I Got Here. Now, I say quasinonfiction because while I intend to tell the story of my life it is all through my eyes and my interpretation, so the facts contained in here may differ from the actual facts. This content will also be contained on my Facebook page. Thank you. If you enjoy the content on this site please consider donating to my "pay off my student loans" fund.

The text I would put on the back of the book.

This book may have been more accurately named, How'd I Get Here?, but I don't like punctuation in titles. So, for those of you who don't know me, which is likely most of you, my name is Jason Taylor. I grew up in Salem, Oregon with my mother and sister. I am, at the time of writing this sentence, employed at North Salem High School working in the math department as an Instructional Assistant. Well, in all honesty, at the time of writing this sentence. I am in bed, under a down comforter, not sleeping at about 2:00 a.m. My dream job is, of course, working as a time agent, tracking down those who seek to alter the timeline for their own, personal, gain. Seeing as how that is not an option at the moment, I am hoping to eventually pay off some debt and work in full time camp ministries.

As I intend to be presenting a work of nonfiction here I feel it necessary to point out a few things. First, I am one man. Meaning, I cannot see everything that is happening around me all the time. I see facts as they are presented to me and they get interpreted through my senses and my experience. Second, I don't remember everything that has ever happened to me. I may at times present something that I think happened, or something in a way that I think may have happened, but be completely wrong. Third, I, on occasion, have a desire for my life to be more interesting than it is. Consequently, I may just make something up because it sounds cool. That my friends, well, hopefully some of you are my friends, is that. I hope you enjoy my book.
